1. Overview

Drippr is a Chrome extension that tracks product prices on e-commerce websites. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

  • Google account email — collected when you sign in with Google, used solely to send price drop notifications.
  • Product URLs and prices — the URLs and prices of products you choose to track.
  • Price history — historical price data for products you track, stored to display charts.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To display your tracked products in the extension popup.
  • To send email notifications when a tracked product reaches your target price (Pro users only).
  • To sync your tracked products across devices when signed in.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in two places:

  • Locally — in your browser via Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local. This data never leaves your device unless you sign in.
  • Cloud (signed-in users) — in Supabase, a secure cloud database, protected by Row Level Security so only you can access your data.

5. Price Checking

Price checks are performed directly from your browser. The extension fetches the product page you saved and reads the price — no intermediate server is involved in this process. Your browsing activity on other pages is never accessed or monitored.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Google OAuth — used for authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase — cloud database and authentication. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — used to send price drop email notifications. Only your email address is shared.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by signing out and removing the extension. Local data is cleared automatically. To request deletion of cloud data, contact us at the email below.

8. Children's Privacy

Drippr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
